Roman is 7 months old today!

As we gaze at Roman's picture... lots, questions run through our minds. Eating schedule? Sleeping schedule? Cuddler? Active? Inquisitive? Will he be creative? An athlete? I'm hoping for a musical composer, Doug I think leans toward a football player. :) It's hard to look at a picture and hope that he likes us. We are already so in love with him. Just 2 pictures, but what a difference!

Spoke to Liz the Social Worker again today. She said getting measurements within the next couple weeks should not be a problem, but more pictures might. She would talk with the local coordinator and let us know. She also sent us even more paperwork to fill out, regarding double-entry visas and region-specific stuff. It's all not a problem anymore, we don't care!

Talked to a cousin today. She mentioned a friend of hers is considering adoption at this point, and has been reading my journaling. I sure hope she decides to do it!

Also had another unexpected act of kindness. I have an autistic child in my 2nd hour with an aide. The aide came up at lunch to give us a gift of some bath toys - "Not much," she says, "but I was thinking of you and wanted to show my happiness for you." Isn't that amazing? They're really cool - a shark, alligator, pelican, frog, and fish that squirt water. Cool. :)
