Our Roman is now 27.5 inches long, and weighs 16.7 pounds. His head circumference has grown by 2 inches! All is well - as far as we know. Were told to look for a picture next week sometime, if one is going to come.

Travel dates have been confirmed. Fly out Saturday Feb. 14th, return Thurs. the 19th. We arrange flight and stay in Moscow; coordinator arranges flight and stay in Ekat. The 3 hotels recommended us in Moscow are all Marriott hotels. Rather amusing. All within a mile or so of Red Square. Doug made a comment about the prices - but I said, "who cares? We're less than a mile from Red Square. RED SQUARE!" (that's when the history mind starts flitting back to old documentary films I've seen of Soviet parades through Red Square, complete with missiles... WOW! Lenin's tomb!)

So basically at this point, I'm getting so excited to touch Russian soil that I don't care what it costs. Which can be dangerous. :)
