So our time approaches. Our friends Mark and Jenn have a son, Sam,in kindergarten, and the book "Flat Stanley" was read to the class. It's about a boy who is flattened when a chalkboard falls on him, but he's not hurt - just flat as a pancake. He can now fit into envelopes and travel all around the world.

The kids each colored their own Flat Stanley and then their teacher sent it to someone outside their family (with permission), outside their town, with instructions. We agreed to host Flat Stanley. We are to take Flat Stanley out and about and explore neat things to do, and take pictures of Flat Stanley exploring. So Flat Stanley is going to go with us to Russia! Won't that kindergarten teacher be in for a surprise when she gets those pictures! :)

Five more days left of teaching, 3 on my own. Dance this Friday. Nothing like a middle school dance to make you glad you're an adult. Visiting my parents this weekend; saw Doug's family last weekend. Took our photos for our Visas tonight, sending them off tomorrow. For a price, you can get ANYTHING done fast.
