We awoke at 4:30 this morning. Woke the Bug at 5:00am. Left for the hospital around 20 after 5am. Children's Hospital rocks. From the playrooms around every corner, to allowing me to lay next to Roman while he was "put under" (and then offering me a Kleenex after!), this place understood everything we were going through. Roman has recovered well today, once the Tylenol with codeine kicked in. A little sore, but dr. assured us that "warm baths and lots of hugs" would pull him through.

We watched lots of videos today to keep him quiet and relatively movement-free, although by evening he was wandering around again.

More words now:
bye-bye
"hello, day" (when we open the shades in the morning)
"duck-duck" (what a duck says, don't you know)
bawk-bawk (what a chicken says)
make pucker fish noises (what a fish says)
"moo" (what a cow AND horse says. This is his favorite).
"doggie"

He can "point his finger and do the twist" (a song by the Wiggles)
He can point to his nose, tummy, ears, eyes, head, hair, and feet
He has taken the step up into the dining room by himself
he can blow kisses
almost does the hand motion for "Itsy Bitsy Spider"
