Working on: Cleaning and organizing the house
---------------------------------

Although I'm not going to like him in a few minutes - he only took a 45 min. nap - I must get mushy about my child for a moment. Once we got him on another round of antibiotics for probable bronchitis, we saw such a personality change. It's hard to realize in the thick of things, that your child is not feeling well. He was happy sometimes, but most the time was whiney and grumpy. Just figured we were going to have to deal with him. Now that he's had almost his full dose of medicine, we realized - he was not feeling good at all! The last two days have been SO great.

He's been happy, talkative, grinning, giggling, and happy to play by himself even sometimes! THIS is what Roman is truly like. Which makes me think - he's been not feeling normal for quite a few weeks. We went out to dinner last night and he was so funny, babbling, eating, flirting with other people. This morning we played, and played, and then he ran errands with his Daddy, and was in a great mood the whole time. What a joy he's been.

Meanwhile, the organizing/cleaning bug has hit me again. Happens every few months. Therefore, I started by rearranging the living room. That was so great, I got ideas about moving the small table back into the kitchen for various reasons. So when the boys ran errands this morning, I cleaned nooks and crannies in the living room, dining room, hall closet, and kitchen. Put some stuff where it actually belonged, threw some stuff out, and organized other stuff. Cleaned out a corner of Roman's room, too. Got spots out of the carpet in the basement.

On top of THAT, convinced Doug that we needed to put up some shelves in the basement to protect some of our better-loved books and photo albums from 17-month-old hands. So Doug is going to put up the initial two shelves at halftime (UM vs. Ohio State, you know). Hooray!
