Roman comes up with a new word every couple days now. He started saying "chair" today with no forewarning. We were going through Babies R Us (had to get more sippy cups) and he saw the strollers and car seats. "CHAIR" he calls out, then repeats it over and over. Except, in his cute Roman-baby voice, it comes out as "chai". He doesn't pronounce r much.

He also has been saying "shoes" constantly. This comes out as "shoesh." In fact, it coordinates with his new favorite hobby - to take his right shoe and sock off at every chance. Especially in the car, it's too funny. Tonight it was all quiet in the backseat, then some rustling, then... "uh-oh." I said, "what happened?" Long pause.... "shoesh." We burst out laughing. By the time I turned around, he was grinning and yanking his sock off. But it's always his right foot.... strange.
