Working on: Going to bed.
---------------------------------
For many months now, Roman has been quite clingy to me. Daddy is okay... as long as Mama isn't around. If I'm in the room, even house - he wants to be with me. The last few days we have seen a shifting, though. Perhaps it started when he wanted to watch choo-choos with Daddy rather than go upstairs to see me. Maybe because Daddy has picked him up from daycare the last couple days (he's been there until 5:30 because Swim Team started). Either way, it's been great to watch! Tonight, while I laid on the floor of the living room, Roman played with Daddy. Giggled and flung himself on me a couple times, but quickly lost interest and went back to Daddy. This is a FIRST. And we're both pretty pleased about it!

So like I said, Swim Team started yesterday. Practice 4-5pm this week, 3:30 - 5pm starting next week. Good team, a little smaller than previous years. But that's okay. The kids all seem dedicated, which I prefer. We've got about 85 kids or so.

Second to lastly, have you noted Current Events in the Middle East lately? Specifically Lebanon. Marching against their government to the point that the Parliament resigned? Demanding that Syria withdraw its military immediately? First the Israel/Palestine attempting to work things out (again), then Ukraine, now Lebanon... I heard reports on NPR today that "democratic fever" has even reached Egypt, where apparently the government has adjusted the constitution to approve "multi-people" elections. Meaning, not just one name on the ballot anymore. I don't think this is what George W. Bush had in mind with his "democracy domino" theory. However, whenever people rise up to challenge their government (and demand true change!) I find it interesting.

Now lastly.... Isn't this boy the most darling you've ever seen? This age is the best. He talks, blabbers, and his imagination is the coolest. He's really into pretending that we're eating and drinking his stuff. He also pretends his food is different animals, and has it "walk" across his tray while he makes the sounds. It's pretty funny! Here's him eating the last bit of Jello Easter egg.
