Ta-da! Defending champs! Our swim team took conference this evening. Here's the score (we led in every event except 200 Free):

And tradition still stood; coaches got thrown into the pool when the winner was announced. I just happened to have a change of clothes and a towel in my bag, luckily! A most amazing thing occurred that I've never seen before - our 400 Free Relay actually TIED with another middle school for 2nd place. Down to the hundreths of a second. Crazy.
Daddy and Roman had a special night tonight. Roman skipped nap yesterday but made up for it today, sleeping 2-1/2 hours at daycare. Daddy took him to Baker's Square for pancakes! Yummy! Oh, and more evidence of Roman's brilliance - he spontaneously counted to SEVEN this morning, counting out our "Tiger" cereal.
