I like the title. In honor of Rosa Parks. Here in Detroit a black ribbon has been tied to a seat in the front of every bus in her honor, until her funeral. I think it's sad that really, the last vestiges of the civil rights generation is dying off. And today's youth doesn't get the important of all that was done. Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

In other news, favorite phrases of Roman's include the following:
"No, I get it. I got it! I did it!"
"No, I look around." (at the store when he wanders off)
"Mama, get going." (when we weren't getting to the choo-choos fast enough)
"Be right back." (finger pointed at me)
"Mama, talk." (when he wants me to read aloud)

But he also doesn't like me turning around in the car to look at him anymore. He flails his hand at me and says "no, no, NO Mama!"
