Books and other stuff I feel like discussing

By education and experience - Accountant with a specialty in taxation. Formerly a CPA (license has lapsed). Masters degree in law of taxation from University of Denver. Now retired. Part time work during baseball season as receptionist & switchboard operator for the Colorado Rockies. This gig feeds my soul in ways I have trouble articulating. One daughter, and four grandchildren. I share the house with two cats; a big goof of a cat called Grinch (named as a joke for his easy going "whatever" disposition); and Lady, a shelter adoptee with a regal bearing and sweet little soprano voice. I would be very bereft if it ever becomes necessary to keep house without a cat.

New neighbors

We have some rabbits living under our deck. We have only seen two, they are wild, of course, about 6-8 inches long from tip of the nose to the storybook little white tail. Body fur is a "salt & pepper" mix of shades of light brown and gray. Probably the two we have been watching are teenagers in the rabbit life span measuring system.

We no longer have a vegetable garden, nor do I plant any flowers, so I'm not particularly concerned, I figure if they feel like sticking around, no problem.

The little guys come out from under the deck and nibble on the grass. I figure at the rate of 5 square inches a day, they'll have the lawn mowed in about 4 years!
