Woodstock's Blog
Books and other stuff I feel like discussing

By education and experience - Accountant with a specialty in taxation. Formerly a CPA (license has lapsed). Masters degree in law of taxation from University of Denver. Now retired. Part time work during baseball season as receptionist & switchboard operator for the Colorado Rockies. This gig feeds my soul in ways I have trouble articulating. One daughter, and four grandchildren. I share the house with two cats; a big goof of a cat called Grinch (named as a joke for his easy going "whatever" disposition); and Lady, a shelter adoptee with a regal bearing and sweet little soprano voice. I would be very bereft if it ever becomes necessary to keep house without a cat.

Bunny Update

We can't be sure of course, but we think only one of our under the deck residents survived to adulthood. Every once in awhile, as we come home from errands or work, we spook an adult rabbit from the area near our driveway. Sometimes we see a rapid departure from other areas of the front yard as well.

The day before yesterday as Mr Woodstock cleared fallen leaves away from the areas around our deck and fence, he found a small area dug out from beneath the fence to allow quick access to the back yard.

Considering all the threats to life and limb for rabbits around here, a 50% survival rate isn't bad!

We'll watch the back yard snow for bunny tracks this winter.
