A Traitor in the Kingdom

Gul's Angels (Myzythra, River and Sunspot, Tupeti, Shrub, Tandwyn and Umyang) have been working on this particular quest for some time, although Shrub regretably couldn't make it for this trip. We have tracked down Marshall Windsor who went missing during some investigations he was making surrounding the dragons of the Burning Steppes. We found him imprisoned in Blackrock Depths overcome by despair. He had uncovered a conspiracy to control the Throne of Stormwind, but he had lost all of the evidence and been imprisoned. We fought our way through the Depths to retrieve the proof he needed and broke him out of the prison.

We met with him back in Stormwind...

He yells out to the people of Stormwind that there is a traitor in their Throne room and we are on our way to remove her, but as we walk through the Valley of Heroes we are met by General Marcus and his guards.

General Marcus and Marshall Windsor have fought together through many wars and the mutual respect they share is palpaple.

Despite the great danger, even the smallest of Stormwind's heroes join the fight to save the Kingdom!

Once through town, we enter the Stormwind Keep and up the long hallway to the Throne room where the Boy King of Stormwind is flanked by Lord Bolvolar and Lady Prestor... who is hiding her true identity.

She is not Lady Prestor, she is the dragon Onyxia! Windsor calls for the guards to sieze her, but she is their true master!

Marshall Windsor is slain in the fight, Lord Bolvolar is freed from Onyxia's mind control and Onyxia is forced to flee back to her lair. A hero has died, but the royalty of Stormwind are no longer under her control.

The dragon Onyxia still lives, but now we know how to enter her lair. Marshall Windsor will be avenged!

Beauty in the Jungle

I and Umyang had our first adventure into Zul'Gurub. A troll temple deep in the jungles of Stranglethorn Vale. I was absolutely struck by its beauty. I like these pictures stand on their own.

I haven't posted any pictures in awhile for various reasons, so it's time to catch up! Over the weekend while travelling into Blackrock Depths with Gul's Angels, Umyang made that last jump to greatness that we call 60th level! I did not get a picture of the exact moment, but here is the Tauren who gave his life so that she could level.

Another fun moment was in Upper Blackrock Spire where Umyang and Niennanessa (and 13 other brave souls) took down THE BEAST. It's quite a thing to see, while this picture is pretty good, it doesn't do THE BEAST the justice it deserves.

Ken and Shelley (who are about to have their first child this weekend!) celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on Wednesday..... IN AZEROTH!

The Guild was all abuzz with talk of dresses and tuxedos for the last couple of days as everyone was trying to find nice clothes for the wedding ceremony which took place in the Cathedral of Light in the human home of Stormwind.

I've tried to capture the event here... I've got 750 pictures, but pulled these out as some of my favorites.

Umyang made the big level 40 this weekend, which allows the purchase of a horse! She chose the Pinto, because she's likes the patches of different color. :)

I think I'm going to name him Bean unless something better strikes me. :)

The Scarlet Monastery and a New Face

Gul's Angels have made recent travels to the Scarlet Monastery in Tirisfal Glades. The Scarlet Crusade are a group of humans who have vowed to rid Azeroth of the scourge of the Undead. Unfortunately, they have been blinded by their fanaticism and regard anyone who does not bear the mark of the Scarlet Crusade as an enemy. They must be brought to justice... and indeed, they have been.

The Dragon Azuregos

While preparing to head to the Eastern Plaguelands last night, I received word that some Alliance scouts had stumbled upon an enormous blue Dragon named Azuregos. They wanted my help to defeat this incredible creature (although, I know the real score, they just wanted me there so I could summon others to the location quickly).

Just as I arrived, a raid of Horde charged Azuregos before we could claim her for our own. I stayed however, to document the epic battle. I wish the pictures could really convey the size and power of this creature.

The ground shook as this mighty beast fell after a nearly 30 minute battle!

The Deep Places of the World...

This last weekend I had my first adventure into one of the toughest dungeons in World of Warcraft, Blackrock Depths. Once the capital city of the Dark Iron dwarves, this volcanic labyrinth now serves as the seat of power for Ragnaros the Firelord. Ragnaros has uncovered the secret to creating life from stone and plans to build an army of unstoppable golems to aid him in conquering the whole of Blackrock Mountain.

The path from the doors to Blackrock Mountain into the depths of the city is a dangerous one. The original path has been destroyed for many years and the only way down is through a balancing act along one of the chains suspending this massive spiraling structure in the air.

The light from the montrous river of molten rock below us casts an eerie glow over everything.

A look into our future... these servants of Ragnaros the Firelord guard the paths through Blackrock Depths. The only way past them is with steel and shadow.

Hot Chicks of Azeroth: The Many Faces of Narwynn

While the Ass Kicking Women of Azeroth photo shoots were restricted to women played by women, the Hot Chicks of Azeroth photo shoot is no-holds-barred!

This is Narwynn in her newly acquired Chief Brigadier armor set, which if you ask me... is HOT. If you had abs like hers, wouldn't you want to show them off all the time?

Oh yeah, she's hot and she KNOWS it baby...

Even though she's clad in a slutty metal outfit on the outside... sometimes she's shy and vulnerable...

But if you cross her, she can still be very angry... and you wouldn't like her when she's angry.

This last shot is mostly amusing to those people how know me and my "angry penguin" stance. It's something I learned from my sister at an early age, where you throw your arms out to the side, make some crazy eyes and project a "You want a piece a this, bitch?!" attitude. Narwynn apparently learned from me very well...

This is Tupeti. You wouldn't want to see her in a dark alley. Unfortunately, you couldn't see her even if you wanted to.

This Syndicate guard is about to find out what it's like to scream with a knife in your back. Don't worry, she'll make it quick and painful.

"Pardon miss, is that a knife is your side? Oh, you mean it's my knife? Here, let me exchange it with this other knife.."

Of course... sometimes the sneaky-sneaky only works so well. Oops!

Ass Kicking Women of Azeroth: A River Shoots Through It

Most of the women in Azeroth are actually men in disguise (like Narwynn), so today I begin a series on the Ass Kicking Women of Azeroth and these ass kickers are all WOMAN, baby!

This is a sight of River you never want to see, because if you do the next thing you see will be an angel in the graveyard. Even if you survive the first shot from Guttbuster, it only gets worse when her best friend in the whole world, Sunspot, comes bounding at you...

She's mean with a gun but even if you manage to catch her up close you'll have to deal with the brutal team of Sunspot and River's axe, Bonebiter.

Cheese on the Go!

Myzythra, our tiny Gnome Mage.. not the cheese, has reached 40th level and it was time to head down to the Mechnostrider lot at Steelgrill's Depot! River was also in attendance to celebrate this momentous occasion!

I know this is similar to Shrub's entry... but I'm new to this. Suck it up. :)
