Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

*Up to the middle of the second week of classes I had to revise my lab class groupings at least four times to accomodate students who were just starting to arrive and enroll. In one subject, Energy Conversion Lab, I have four groups: two with four members each and two with five, so I'm not sure if everyone will work there, or if most will just slack off.

*At the same time, we couldn't perform the first two experiments in that class because we don't have a three-phase motor with inductors, so instead of twelve experiments we only have ten.

Who knows how many more will have to be taken out because of lack of equipment?

*My two lab classes on the first day of the week also had to be switched to accomodate a conflict with another class among the regular seniors, and to give in to everyone's request not to have early morning classes, and at the same time not have three-hour vacant periods between their lab classes.

*The director of the school engineering almost returned my residency form to me because I didn't avail of the up to four hours that a teacher could have class preparation at home.

I said I'm school most of the time anyway, and it's only an option, not a requirement.

*The current student council has removed the halloween costume week from their list of activities, because they said it doesn't have deep significance anyway. Well, should everything have?

*I'm a bit ticked off with the coach of the badminton team that he booted out the faculty from playing in the courts two days ago because he had an inter-campus tune up competition lined up.

If his purpose was to not sully the school's reputation with the other school, i don't think he succeeded anyway because our team lost in almost all of the games, and it just showed our students who much more dedicated the other team's coach is to their training, especially since they had pre-set signals given during the games.
