A/P: "I'd Rather Stress How Important This Is To Me Than Appear Like A Decent Human Being"

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

I was talking about Mr. "My Research with Taiwan is a National Emergency".

Last time he called, I told him that I had left his letter in the president's office since we are sans a dean to approve it.

I said that the secretary told me the president will be back on May 6.

He asked if the technicians are ready to set up everything as soon as they receive the go signal from the president, as if they have nothing better to do than to wait on my command.

He actually thinks that I'm bugging the personnel here the same way he's bugging me.

And this morning, the first text that got me out of bed was from him, asking me to get an update on the physical facilities' status.

So I guess I'm also a moron who can't be trusted to remember what he's been calling and texting about several times already.

That setting aside the fact that I'm an emotionless robot who can't get irritated with his constant reminders, I could still forget.

He probably thinks he didn't drill it into my head often enough.

I gave him a subtle hint and said that the president's secretary already got angry at my impatience for calling her all the time (when I, in fact, only called her once to ask when the brother would be in the office) and that she told me to stop calling her because she'd be the one to call me the moment the brother has given a reaction to the letter.

He also seems to take it for granted that the brother will agree to the proposal even though the school hasn't signed any memorandum yet.

When it's entirely possible that the brother would be too cautious in doling out the school's resources for something for which an agreement may not be reached with the other parties.

Session 2147 will be glad for the time when talking only with the Taiwan researchers directly. Class dismissed.
