"She Will Like Me More After My Hitler-Like Performance"

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

For the first time in his four years' stay here in the college, a certain student performed during the talent show last Friday.

It was labeled as "poetry reading" but it was actually a declamation that sounded like a lecture on technological advances.

He had first requested the organizers not to tell anyone about his joining, although now in retrospect that could have driven the attendance up.

What was somewhat irritating was his primadonna attitude of telling the stage managers what time he will be arriving, when, because of the performances taking less time than expected, he was set to go on stage earlier than had first been estimated.

According to his classmate who fetched him before performing, he was in one of the third floor classrooms shouting when he was found.

He also set up a soundtrack accompanying his speech, which was like a war/marching tune, and that he was only a couple of seconds ahead of when it came to the end, cymbals clashing.

But before he began, he was saying something to the technicians while on the mic about making sure that his voice could be heard over the music, which gave way to initial laughter.

He was just walking back and forth on the stage in his school clothes, holding the wireless microphone, stopping once in a while to punctuate his "lecture" with raising one arm in the air.

Afterwards some of the classmates of the girl he has a crush on had his picture taken with them posed like he was some dictator.

He asked them where the girl was, but she left before he performed, since, again, she had no idea he was going to be there.

He also asked if they had a video of his performance, and even though all of them did, they said no since it meant he was going to use it to impress the girl, which they didn't want any hand in.

Session 2449 doesn't like what blind love is capable of making people do. Class dismissed.
