Someone High on His Title Being Taken Down a Notch

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

We have this confusion right now about the college parents' association president who signed in the committee of discussing the tuition fee rate of increase for next school year, although right now his son is not enrolled due to "financial" constraints.

Technically, he shouldn't be the president anymore, and there are grumblings because he has been a bit of a megalomaniac taking offense at every little thing that is not consulted with him, and acting on suspicions of dishonest staff.

It's a loophole in their constitution though, since his son hasn't actually shifted or transferred yet, the only two instances for a shortened term given.

The question is also is there anyone who will formally question the legitimacy of this president now?

@@ Conflicts of schedule: the band fest is now on the same night as the start of the last batch of the college seniors' retreat. I will have to prioritize one over the other.

Most likely, since it's the one where all of those who didn't attend the previous sessions are forced to go, that means they will be most difficult to call to the sessions.

Just like last year, where it got to the point where the facilitator called back the president to complain.

And that was the batch that includes one that is now infamous for the drug bust bribery.

When I passed by their room at one time, they were already talking about ordering out for a pizza like it was some vacation house. And when they - typically - were late for one of the meals, I think it was dinner, and didn't have any food left, they used that as an excuse for more deliveries to be ordered.

@@ I'm vacillating whether I should put the account about the astronomy lab experiments here or in the student accessible version. On one hand it's an innocent enough topic.

On the other hand, it's not that I want the next batch of students to be spoiled as to what we're doing.

I know that those taking it up now will most likely relate it to their classmates anyway, but it's still different from hearing it, figuratively, from the horse's mouth.

Session 2555 knows there isn't enough world to hand to the next generation on silver platters. Class dismissed.
