In The Realm of Money Begetting More Money

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

It's surprising when a person had one type of business in mind, and got another resource for purely personal purposes, and yet is now just as lucrative using that in the full business sense as the initial one. What am I talking about?

Selling phone credits, supposedly only used for the prepaid broadband, but has, in the past two and a half months, garnered a profit of a hundred and forty percent.

Now that would be awesome if we're talking about four or five digits, sadly, so far, it's only been three digits.

But so far the realization is that the limit has only been how much has been put in as initial investment.

During the first months, it has been only in the two hundreds and three hundreds.

Now it's fully five hundred pesos a week, including the presumably lull time of Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday.

So it probably won't be long before the profits here reach four digits, and the investment amount also increases.

What's surprising is that there is only a small client base, around a dozen people, who ask to be loaded credits daily. One of the advantages is that they can do this even without being in the same shop as the owner of the phone, and that there are no additional charges such as asking for fourteen pesos for a ten peso load, that up to now they have just learned to accept from other retailers.

So again the business lesson emerges about volume (from repeat cheap sales) versus immediate large return.

Another seeming big coincidence here is that all these "clients" are on the same network, somehow confirming the ads about being having the largest number of subscribers.

Well, that's it, just an interesting unexpected source of additional income obtained.

Maybe I really should change the name of this journal now, or at least admit that "prof" in the address means something different now from what was originally intended.

Session 2637 has either fully assimilated the idea of being a businessman to the point of taking it for granted, or is still denying the concept on some basic level. Class dismissed.
