A Peek Behind the Big Decisions Again

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

was no such session during the first term.

After we gave our report on the ongoing relief efforts in coordination with the local government, the brother president said we should have only one more drive with the donations still incoming since the classes have resumed then we should concentrate our resources in helping rebuild the schools used as evacuation centers (most of whose ground floors are still flooded) after the displaced families have been moved to a tent city.

The main thrust, after all, of the brothers, he said, is to further the cause of education in the country.

Next was the report on the high school sports camp. There are apparently going to be six hundred plus participants from all over the country who will be converging to our campus.

Four hundred and fifty of those are participants, the rest are their teacher chaperones and coaches.

These are from ten schools. The only sport that will not be played in campus will be swimming.

Our own integrated school teachers will mostly be part of the secretariat of the little Olympiad.

This will be in school from October 24 to 28, so the college will not have classes on the twenty sixth to the last day.

But they want the student center to remain open and have the college student council prepare entertainment for the kids who will not be at the sporting events, such as movies.

There is also room for fair type booths, but it was specifically mentioned no horror booths.

I guess that means a jail booth, a marriage booth and a kissing booth is also out of the question.

On the night of October 27, their last night, they want to have a party atmosphere, so the college students are again asked to provide live musical entertainment.

This is good because from the first meeting of the revived fellowship of bands, there at least thirty of them.

There will also be participation of the faculty associations and the staff association, which made a killing with their two cold drinks booths during the foundation day fun day, since all bottled and canned cold drinks were exclusively reserved for them.

And the computer labs will be opened at a minimum charge for students especially those from the provinces, to update their families by email or social networks.

Session 2819 is in full rev after the inactivity. Class dismissed.
