Forward, March!

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Is it just me or is it easier to write when here because there is no need to be the teacher that students have to look up to for strength and good example? Duh, there's suppression.

I guess that is a wrong usage of the is-it-just-me-or worn out phrase. Keep the language fresh and alive.

@@ I am glad that I have people like the guidance counselor and my counterpart in the grade school/high school, with who I had lunch last Wednesday as I mentioned in the student accessible version (my heart-bearing, my treat), that I can unburden on about some of the questionable things (for me) that the students are doing.

I am already okay with these chronicles, but sometimes it is good to have a fresh perspective from somewhere else in the campus, like two floors down where their office is.

@@ The dance troupe wants to hold a dance concert at the end of the month inviting other schools here.

I wholly support this, and I hope the dean will too. It is not a contest, just like the concert of various chorales and the singer of Beautiful Girl that I had the privilege of watching recently.

@@ Is there anything I can say here about the weekend that I was not able to say elsewhere?

Just that there is a follow up to the entering-the-seminary analogy that I wrote about previously.

And this is even going into a den of vices a throwing distance of a stone away from the seminary.

Then, ironically enough, on the way home, there is a message from one of the brothers from the head monk.

Like the head monk could somehow feel, or was told by the one he worships, that the incoming brother is in danger of going further astray even before stepping on the right path.

This would really make a great ironic story, and I may have the time to write it very soon.

@@ And just like that there is another expanded council of operations off campus meeting and R&R on the weekend of the thirteenth and the fourteenth, exactly 28 days since our last outing.

No word yet as to what we are supposed to present, if ever, or if the new president will be there.

By that time I am sure we will already have word as to who the Chief Operating Officer (do not call him Executive Vice President!) will be. In fact, it may be as early as tomorrow.

Session 2983 is just cherishing the days. Class dismissed.
