Today I put the finishing touches on my tech writer site:

I've viewed this site in three different browsers (OmniWeb and two versions of Internet Explorer). The one thing that's immediately obvious is that the CSS "standard" doesn't quite live up to the name yet. No, to be fair, the standard is fine, it's just that no browsers implement it perfectly. OmniWeb steadfastly ignores all list-item properties, while one version of Internet Explorer likes to boldface text that the other browsers don't boldface.

Still, I think I've achieved something that looks reasonably clean and readable on a variety of browsers, which, in the world of HTML, is about the best you can hope for.
