On Thursday night, I managed to score a copy of the February F&SF, which features the story, "Metal More Attractive," by my Clarion West '02 classmate Ysabeau S. Wilce. It's a terrific story - imaginative, playful with its language, and featuring one of the most terrifyingly memorable (or perhaps memorably terrifying) three year olds in all of speculative literature. Go read it.

And if you happen to be in New York City tomorrow night, go see Ysa read, along with John Crowley. I wish I could make it, but I am, alas, on the other side of the country.
