Full Text of Proposition

What does it do? Amends the state constitution to guarantee a public right of access to meetings and records of government bodies.

How I plan to vote: Yes.

Why? This one kind of seems like a no-brainer. Even the argument in opposition given in the voter pamphlet was the relatively weak one that the proposition "doesn't go far enough" to ensure access to government information because it does allow certain exemptions to protect privacy rights. Whatever. It seems like a substantial step in the right direction to me.
