What does it do? Says that voters must approve any state reductions in fees or taxes or changes in their allocation that would reduce local government revenues. Also says that local governments can suspend "mandates" for which they are not adequately compensated by the state government.

How I plan to vote: No

Why? Proposition 1A seems to accomplish much the same effect with much less electoral sturm und drang. Even Prop 65's initial proponents now support 1A instead.
