So tomorrow we leave on our great adventure. We'll be flying out to investigate the possibilities of Andy's prospective job, including potential places to live. It's been almost eight years since I moved cross-country, and I'm a bit out of practice. (I don't want to say where we're going yet because I'm superstitious about chickens and hatching and counting and all that. Basically I've just been holding my breath for the past three months.)

No writing lately, as trip preparations and a baby who thinks he can stay awake from 7 or 8 in the morning until 11:30 at night with no nap in between have rendered writing verrry slow. I did, however, manage to plow through my stuck spot, and am almost done revising chapter 1. I'm going to bring a hard copy with me on the trip and try to do some editing at any odd moment I can, if my nerves will let me concentrate. (I am not the best flyer in the world. Which is usually why I bring writing, or a book, and just bury my nose in it the entire time. However, this time I'm not flying alone and will have to entertain little people.)
