It's a Pretty Good Day...

I've had the lyrics from a song spinning around my head yesterday and today -- It's a pretty good day/I'm looking forward to tomorrow...

Yesterday I happily typed in all my revisions to chapter 1, added a few extras, and felt like I got Sergei down a lot better. He's lightened up in the intervening year and a half, or maybe I have. Anyway, while I was writing in the kitchen and the rest of the family was watching SpongeBob, I made the executive decision to go out for dinner instead of stopping to make it, so after I finished my revisions and shut down the computer, we bundled up and headed out for Pad Thai and a trip to Borders after that. (Well, I had Pad Thai, but everyone else had macaroni and cheese. Andy's was called "Pasta With Three Cheeses", but it was the same thing the kids got, except with a fancier name and in a bigger bowl.)

Today Andy went to Meeting and I stayed home with the still-coughing kids, because the First Day School rooms are tiny and now packed (yes, packed) with children, as the Meeting has been growing every Sunday, and lots of the new attenders have young families. I got a lot of cleaning done, went to Target after lunch and bought Rubbermaid containers and a bright pink and green cleaning caddy for my bathroom (who knows, maybe I'll be inspired to actually clean it for once), revised chapter 2 when I got home, and thanks to the kind and thoughtful Sarah P, sold a story tonight :-).

Maenad, to Lone Star Stories.

And yes, I am looking forward to tomorrow.
