Yesterday my daughter got a book about feelings which prominently features pictures of fruits and vegetables with carved faces and black-eyed peas for eyes. Somehow she has talked me into trying this at home. Shouldn't these books come with a warning, Caution: Illustrator a professional, do not try this at home?

Anyway, here I am, off to help the kiddos carve cucumbers. Guess the new story (all 5 longhand pages of it thus far) will have to wait behind the vegetables which are now dancing on the table as I type.
