It's all the rage, but is it all that good?

I have to preface this by saying this is not my usual preferred subject matter in books. But I am caving to the pressures of talk radio hosts who have been shamelessly pushing this book on us for weeks now, and I just want to see what all the hullabaloo is about.

I am just beginning Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L.James.

I assume you have all heard of this tome.

I am not looking for yeas or nays from anyone because I want to form my own opinion about this thing by actually doing the reading and not going by what someone else says about it, which is what a lot of people have been doing, especially the said radio talk show hosts who devote their entire several-hour radio shows to this book(s) (trilogy) but haven't actually read the darn thing themselves.

So here goes. When I come up for air, I will check back in. I don't even own the 2nd two in the trilogy yet but they are on their way by post.

It could prove funny, laughable, enjoyable, or even downright dis-goost-ing (as my British friend Sheila says).

More later on the subject.

Cheers,

Bex
