The butcher, the baker, the tablecloth maker

I'm working on it. No, it's not "done" yet. It's a rectangle on a round table.

So no matter how I put the cloth on the table, long side in front or long side on the sides, it's not ideal. It needs to be either square or round.

I have some options. I do have the other tea towels that I can add on to the short sides and then hem up as needed. I made this one yesterday and it was hotter and muggier in here than I'd planned on, and I got very tired doing this sewing job. And hot. To me, sewing is a winter job. I don't enjoy sewing in the heat.

Also, I have made an executive decision about the cup/mug holder. It's history. I have ordered something else and will let you know about that when it arrives.

Cheers for now,
