December, Thou Art Here

You are never too old to learn new stuff.

Fabulous new stuff, in fact.

Here is something I just learned about, so my knowledge of it is very slim. But I want to dig into the subject more, and will. But for you, if you have a few minutes, I submit

The Garden of Livia

This Wiki page tells more about the Villa of Livia, so enjoy and learn when you get a chance.

Unless you already knew about this amazing painting.

I am a complete novice when it comes to classical art or classical anything, for that matter. But thanks to this new-fangled thing someone invented called The Internet, and also much thanks to someone who had the incredible brain to invent a thing called "Google," I am able to learn things I never would have found before.

Imagine a life now without Google? I cannot.

Imagine a life now without internet? Nor can I.

Imagine a life without dogs or cats or pets? Me neither.

Imagine a life without art? Nope.

Imagine a blog/journal without you - readers? What for?

So thanks for reading. Thanks for commenting. Thanks for the support you give.

I offer this entry today for anyone who has never heard of Livia's Garden and hope that this video above will inspire you to soak up more of the history it evokes. The world is truly an amazing place. People are truly amazing beings.

I wonder if the insects of the Earth have anything like our "art" in their world?

Cheers for a World of Art at our Fingertips,

Bex

It's in every one of us to be wise;
Find your heart, open up both your eyes.
We can all know every thing without ever knowing why.
It's in every one of us, by and bye.
