The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

News from Smallville

News from Smallville from this weekend.

"The costume contest at the County Junior Fair was supposed to be for animals, but their owners for the most part, wore more elaborate outfits than their owners.

'I thought it would be really fun to do -- to dress up and be wacko for a few minutes,' said Angelo DeBasio from Littledale, who dressed as offbeat Nurse Shotinhinney in oversized red canvas sneakers.

"Brainsalad's daughter, her friend from from Smallville, played Dr. Insano, who operated on patients to change their personality. Dr. Insano wore very oversized yellow sunglasses. Her goat, Mango was dressed as a hospital patient and didn't seem to mind wearing the blue print hospital gown.

"Dr. Insano said she came up with idea. 'There's a lot of medical equipment around the house so it was easy to do,' she said, explaining that her mother is a nurse.

"This ensemble came in second."
