Taking a brief break

Things did not work out with Merovingian woman this Friday and I spent much of the weekend feeling bad about it. Despite my mood, I managed to get quite a bit done anyway, including making significant steps towards lining up another potential date.

Yesterday when I went to pick my daughter, she and her mother were arguing about how much time she was spending on the computer. Her mother threatened to keep her offline for a week unless she got more work around the house done. Typical parent teenager crapola.

I think I'm going to take the punishment my ex had intended for my daughter. I've been spending quite a bit too much time online since I got my DSL line. It hasn't been totally unproductive time; I mean I've done quite a bit of other things. But that constant info stream is as addictive as crack in its own way. I could use a break from it all for a bit.

Until next Monday then.
