The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

Quick weekend summary

On Friday, for some reason I made the rare charitable move and gave my daughter's old high chair to a client trying to get a child returned. The client needs to have as many baby things as she can by the middle of September when we are having a hearing, so that she can get some expanded visits with her 10 month old daughter. The high chair was at my mom's. My upcoming nephew might need a high chair when he comes to visit, but that won't be for a few months, and if necessary I'll chip in for another then.

The majority of my Labor Day weekend was spent laboring. I have two trials and a return date on an important motion, so I spent the bulk of my time working. These next two weeks will be very busy.

I did take Saturday off, and spent it hiking with a friend. The weather was absolutely perfect, with rare low humidity, temperature in the low 70s, and plenty of sunshine. In the evening we rented "The Forgotten", a truly horrible movie with Julianne Moore. Yes, we did make the obvious stupid pun about the movie, but I'm going to spare any potential readers.

I also spent some time screwing around online on City of Heroes. They introduced a significant modification that was supposed to make my archetype (aka class) somewhat weaker. It has worked out okay though, and is actually making the game funner. They also added bows, sonic attacks, and a large new area.

I would like to spend some time with my daughter soon, since it's been over two weeks since we saw each other. Hopefully this weekend.

Not much else to report. Need to get back to work.

Oh, one more thing. About a year ago, I said that I would probably never have my hair long again. I lied. There was an attorney for another public agency who had long spikey hair, and I decide that I would just let mine grow, because, frankly, he was getting paid more than I am, and if he can, then I can.

My hair is now big and pouffy, and I like it. Yes, I do look like a nerdy reject from the 80s. That's what I am. So Ppppppbbbbbbsssstttt!!!!! (this is the sound that you make when you push your tongue out and blow underneath it, also know as the motorcar sound.)
