This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

Catage

Since my daughter's dog killed one of her cats, as of this evening the other one lives with me. His name was Blackjack, but has turned into Jake for me (so far). He is a two year old black short hair, with a small tuft of white under his chin.

My daughter was upset, but he seems to be adapting well. He is sleeping on my bed in my spot. He cried a bit on the 40 mile trip, but wasn't horrible. He's fairly affectionate, and is ok with being picked up, He does not like his belly rubbed. He went straight for my face when I tried. He is neutered and has all his shots.

It's a bit like adopting a child. He will probably be around for the next ten to fifteen years. I'll be in my fifties when our relationship ends. It should be okay though.
