The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

From nuclear to extended

For Thanksgiving this year I visited with my mother. A couple of my single brothers came over and of course my one sister was already there. Usually we go to my oldest brother's or my oldest sister's, but both of them had made plans with their immediate families. One of my single brothers almost went to his girlfriend's family, but they had a spat earlier in the week, and he had already commited to visiting mom before they made up. Our nuclear unit will dissolve even further on Christmas when my youngest brother, who has always made it home from Ohio, will spend the holidays with his girlfriend's family out there instead.

Since it was Thanksgiving, it could only mean one thing. Yes, Snow. We had a decent snowfall. Maybe three inches max. It made driving a bit tricky, and I had to go about 100 miles total. It also ruined my plans for the evening, since I was supposed to see a lady friend, but the weather defintely made that impossible. Also skipped on trying to see my daughter. Maybe I'll snag her to help my do my Christmas shopping.

Despite the sad note of feeling of that my is family growing further apart, I had a good time. Amazingly good turkey, and we all got along very well. Mom was in good humor, and we all had some nice conversations.
