The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

You know what's really weird?

Being at a high school senior awards ceremony and being able to figure out who some of the students were because of how much they looked like their parents I went to high school with.

I turned 40 a little over a week ago, and it didn't hit me until last night at the ceremony. Not only are the people I went to high school with grown ups, their children are too. Can't I be an elf secretly adopted by my parents? Isn't that what happened? My poverty level parents with four kids decided to adopt an elf because of how much he looked like them?
