The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

Characters - 1

Hiram G is like a character from a cheap novel. He's the local pit bull. When people want to sue someone, they say "That's it. I'm calling Hiram G." Hiram is olive skinned, about 5'4", has a big hook nose, and hair everywhere except the bald spot in the middle of his head. Hiram has been married five times, and he's addicted to gambling. He's makes a bunch off a big law suit, lives it large, and then ends up broke. I saw Hiram the other day on the way to court. He has this very old beaten up satchel he carries with him that has some strange labels on it. I could tell their were dozens of stories associated with that satchel.

MJ is Hiram's main flunky. She's an attorney. Demure, shy, red headed Irish. She writes Hiram's legal briefs for him. He doesn't have the patience for it any more. She says that with prep, she can do a better direct case than Hiram, but that Hiram can rip people to pieces with his cross. She also says that Hiram goes through secretaries like water. He rants in the office. Screams when things aren't done right. Tough guy to work with, but MJ says that it is a convenient relation for her.

Very different sort of attorney from me, Hiram G.
