some 9 odd years later

Still at the same job. Still in the same apartment. Still dating a woman roughly the same age, although now that means two years younger than me not several years older. Roughly same weight. Still the same iffy relationship with my daughter.

Things that have changed? Wearing bifocals not contacts. Slight bit of gray creeping into my hair. Have learned how to cross country ski and roller blade, although poorly. Can speak a small bit of Chinese. Have slept with a LOT more women. Slightly more financially secure. Number of nieces and nephews is now in the upper teens. Computer has 2 monitors and I have a kindle and a cell phone. Have travelled quite a bit more, and know the names of a lot of wildflowers.
