observations on custody cases

Men and women in custody cases can be equally selfish. They both tend to get unreasonably jealous of their ex's new boyfriend or girlfiend and don't want them around their children. Men are definitely more violent, and when a relationship is ongoing, they can become very possessive and jealous. Women are more possessive of their children, and are more likely to scheme to gain custody if they have lost it, or to try to cut their ex off from visitation. Women are more likely to call in a neglect or abuse allegation as a means of gaining an advantage in a custody case. Men are more likely to abandon their children altogether.

I have at this point, handled over 1000 and probably closer to 2000 custody cases.
