"... cannibalism became fertilization, and meiosis was forced to evolve" (Margulis and Sagan). And that's why plants and animals have gonads today. It's also why our cells are stuffed with organelles: mitochondria that let us breathe oxygen, chloroplasts that plants use to photosynthesize each a secret to my ultimate succes over the alien mesostich poetic form. These are contingent effects of unplanned, miscegenetic encounters: I'd been using the bits and pieces of rave theory to put together some answers whose questions had deluded me. This crunching, grappling sound made my stomach turn, all I could from vomiting on the stage. We are all performers, are we not? This is day one of the judgement series, a rainbow of epic porportions.
