The life of an adjunct professor is filled with fun and games. There are many metaphors - imagine a tempestuous romantic relationship or your worst relationships with your children.

Now multiply that by 100 and that is how I feel sometimes. Imagine having 100 girlfriends. Imagine having 100 children. Most of them will be behaved, but at any time, 10 percent of them will act up.

Tonight I caught my second plagiarizer. He denied it vehemently and is planning on appealling my decision to kick him out of my class.

I also gave a student an "A-" for her paper and she asked, "why wasn't it an 'A'? " I told her I'd give her more feedback and she THREW the paper on my desk.

Now she is at the absolute bottom of my priority list. Right after shitting and getting drunk with trashy women (I could really go for a trashy woman right now, maybe a little overweight, wearing lingerie too small for her buttocks, but she would also be brutally honest and possess a noble savagery).

Now that's harsh, but remember, I'm not mentioning names or other specifics. This isn't Clarion, after all.

I'm a little tipsy right now, so let me depart by saying that I love you all dearly.
