Okay, so it's not a blog round-up but rather a review of my (mostly) excellent day.

St Casserole and I had a most excellent conversation early this morning, after which we went to the Swanky Hotel for a breakfast buffet. At the next table was Terrific Former Moderator and Other Terrific Former Moderator/Educator. I had to be a nudnik and remind TFM how much I enjoyed his Reformed Theology class at Semi-Famous Theological Skool.

Meanwhile, St Casserole experimented with flavoring various breakfast foods with maple syrup. Good times...

Next up: It's all about the shopping! That's right folks, its time for Gobal Village. Mr. Cheese bought me some lovely jewelry today. He's becoming a regular Mr Casserole.

I spent a large part of the day with my friend Big C ("Can I call you Big C, Big C?") and a colleague of his, Lovely and Southern. She and I hit it off right away.

Me: "Y'know, Lovely and Southern, you are all I hear about from this guy."

L&S: "That's funny. All I ever hear about is Cheesehead, Cheesehead, Cheesehead."

Big C was busted, big time.

I went to some meetings today, but I'm trying to block out some of that for my own health and welfare. How some people can get all the way to General Assembly with absolutly no knowledge of parliamentary procedure boggles the mind.

I had a lovely dinner, complete with fried okra and fried green tomatoes. Boy those 'maters were tasty. Enough said.

Another meeting, slightly better with the procedure this time.

Tomorrow I'm going to Sixteenth Street Baptist For Church. I can't wait to get my Jesus on.
