Last night I was getting qcquainted with my synod school roomate. I should say re-acqainted, because we had met before, about a year ago at another conference. I mention that I am going out to my car to get my coffee maker. (Yes I like my creature comforts.) I bring it all in, take out my "Does this pulpit..." mug and she says,

"Are you part of that Rev Gals group?"

"Why, yes, I am."

"Do you have a name?"

"Cheesehead."

It was her turn to be surprised.

Turns out, she reads Tuesday Lectionary Leanings, and so do her friends.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Friends, it really is a tiny little world.

To top it off, she's really cool. (Of course she is, she reads RGBP!)
