After seeing an add from GE about their new environmentally friendly focus, I figured it was probably another company making miniscule token changes to get good publicity. Subaru made the itty bitty changes to get noticed that, in effect, have as much impact as a person turning of the light when they leave a room. It's there, but its not very big at all compared to what they could do.

But this General Electric stuff is the real deal. Home innovations with Fridges, Water Purification, Washing and Drying. New eco-engine designs focusing on all levels (construction, running, and maintenance). Oil pipeline detection systems preventing leaks and breaks. All sorts of really innovative and interesting improvements.
