I said my goodbyes to Hole today amongst the swarms of pushy, hygenically challenged Parisians in Gare du Nord, sending him off to Czeckorepublica, and that au revoir really marked the end of an era, I suppose.

It sure felt strange walking out of that train station alone. [gulp] Sack up.

Tomorrow I spend all day in a pressurized tube flung thousands of miles back across the ocean, watching bad movies like Hitchiker's Guide and Monster-in-Law.

Then I land and everything, presumably, changes.

Buckle up, folks - should be interesting.
