Interesting timing on this typo under my byline today, considering it ran the same day as all the coverage for Falwell's death.

Never thought I'd be pleasantly surprised by an embarrasing print error. (I emailed the story from city hall, so for once I'm not the culprit.)

But I will gladly switch over to the Sin staff the day the Sun leads its local section with a story on Falwell's close friendship with a regular contributor to our Biz page. *cringe!* The story also mentions how key a role Falwell apparently played in our myopic approach to the Middle East, which is still "dicked-up," as A.J. Soprano eloquently noted on Sunday.

No mention of Falwell's ridonkulous douchebaggery - and the A1 wire story barely alludes to it after the jump. Yeah, today seems like a good day to work for the Desert Sin. Call me a Sinner.

Timothy Noah has a decent Falwell Greatest-Hits piece on Slate, summing up the kind Reverend's hatred of gays, feminists, and assorted civil rights activists like Martin Luther King and Desmond Tutu. You know - the Lord's work.

must be turning over in his grave. I think even Christufuh would have issues with Falwell, had Tony not given him a fatal case of sinus blockage.
