I said I was rusty but not totally senile. All the same, I lost my journal after only one entry. Oh my. I have really lost it. (My mind, I mean.) Well no matter because not much has happened. Got ignition recall fixed, locked keys in car had to call a locksmith, battery died so I bought another one. PC is still acting up so I should buy another but I really don't want to let go of the dough. Had two MRIs so a pain doc can see if Injections will help my back.

So goes the very dull life of an elder. I did see a pretty entertaining Elvis impersonator show. Local talent mostly. Went to our annual church fall fest. It's a half day affair with free food, entertainment, games, etc. Beautiful weather and a good time but it really pooped me out.

I baked a chocolate layer cake for the cake walk. I hardly bake anymore but I do love it. I mostly bake if I can give it away because it's an awful temptation for me and I'm trying had to keep my blood sugar down.

Anyone out there got kids and grandkids who live far away? Ain't that an awful feeling?
