So a late happy Thanksgiving to all!

God, it has really not been a good couple of weeks for our friends.

All is relatively good here. Thanksgiving day Paul and I participated in the Dallas Turkey Trot. He ran, I walked with Jade. It was actually a bit chilly, but a lot of fun. According to the race announcer, there were over 23,000 people participating. After the race, we came home, showered, and went to Aunt Charlotte's for a very good turkey dinner.

Today we went shopping. We bought very little, but it is our tradition to go watch the loonies on black friday. It is really fun to go to the mall and see all the people and children running around like crazy, trying to get to the good deals. We took Jade to see Santa for the very first time. I will post her picture sometime soon. She is fairly used to being handed off to people, so she was not upset to be held by a stranger. She is fascinated by watching people. I will admit, after 2 days of being so busy, I am really tired! It has been a lot of fun, but I am still very out of shape.
