You know we are worn out when Paul sleeps past noon!

So we have had a great couple of weeks of family visits. Pauls parents were here for a week, followed by Thomas and Shannon. We ate well. Grandma and Grandpa got to spend time with all 3 grandchildrens, and much fun was had.

To top off our visits, we decided (well, I decided) to foster a dog. His name is Q and he is a mix of lab and greyhound. He is also about as skinny as he can get. Poor boy needs food and love! The kitties are adapting. Jade loves him, and my legs are killing me! He likes to walk. A lot.

Which leads me to the biggest loser contest. Today was the first weigh in. I lost 4lbs. Not great, but certainly not bad considering the amount we have been eating out in the last 2 weeks! And since Q likes to walk so much, I foresee good things in the weight loss arena!

In other news, Paul and I have decided to participate in the Relay for life. It is a 12 hour walk to raise money for the american cancer society. The link is on Pauls site if you want to donate. Maybe.
