I am home today with a sick Jade. She seems to have gotten some kind of fever with congestion and cough. Sigh, poor girl!

Jade turned four this week. I can't believe that it has already been four years. For her birthday, we took her to Dave and Busters and let her open gifts and play all the games. She won over 1200 tickets, and got 2 stuffed animals, a really bouncy ball, and a light up necklace. Since we were on Long Island over the weekend, we didn't plan a big celebration this year. Jade had lots of fun at the wedding/reception. She danced and danced. Friday night we took her to the beach, and she played in the waves. She loved it, all that water, all that sand, it was a lot of fun.

So today we sit at home and watch tv, cuddle and try to feel better. (and if I am lucky, maybe we will actually get to take a nap!)
