A night full of dreams, only bits and pieces of which remain now.

An oppressive government had taken over, restricting access to the Internet -I thought about how dependent I'd become on being able to search about any topic and how I should have saved the information I'd found. There was an image in this dream of a shoreline and a beach taken from high above, as if in a plane, but it doesn't seem to have been connected to the rest of the dream...

I was with a group of people at what appeared to be a hotel, listening to either music or an author read from their books. One of the women whose online journals I read was there and she made a disparaging comment about one of the musicians, just as he sat down next to her. She wiped blue tears from his face (this last bit is from The Fifth Element - the singer who is killed in that movie has blue skin and cries blue tears as she's dying)...

I was at a hotel in New York and couldn't remember if I needed to go to Penn Station or Grand Central Station. Then I recalled that I actually needed to go to a meeting in a building on Lexington Avenue and asked the doorman the best way to get there...

This is the first time in weeks that I've remembered anything I've dreamt, although I'm sure these will not seem particularly fascinating even a few hours from now.
